Hello!

Although I am quite familiar with Ikea products, I probably haven’t come this far yet to understand this completely.

I already checked the forum but couldn’t find anything about these dimensions.
I haven’t even started with the sliding doors yet, but I’m still facing a puzzle.
The cabinet frame is already standing and everything is level.

Now to the main topic.
For the 35mm (1⅜ inch) ones, you’re supposed to drill the holes for the top rail. This is even specially mentioned. But exactly there the holes are already drilled (the top and bottom sides of the new Pax are the same so you can’t assemble them incorrectly anymore). So the question is, can I use these existing holes? Does anyone have a new 35mm (1⅜ inch) cabinet with sliding doors? I’m really stuck here.

The instructions show a 100 × 50 × 50cm (39 × 20 × 20 inch) cabinet. I have 100 × 100cm (39 × 39 inch), so the plan is actually a fail, but whatever. For the 100 × 50 × 50cm (39 × 20 × 20 inch) one, the top rail is hooked in differently than for a 2 × 100cm (2 × 39 inch) cabinet. Does it make a difference where I put these clips? I’m attaching the plan for better understanding.

Thanks
R.
