Hi friends,

I seem to be the only one with this problem. I bought a Pax wardrobe and the matching black aluminum frame. One of the final steps is to hook in the dust protection strip (which you also need to cut slightly at the top) and then screw it in. But since it’s aluminum, how are you supposed to screw in wood screws (4 extra screws specifically made for this)? I’ve already searched online but I can’t find anyone else with this issue. I also checked if I had the wrong side without pre-drilled holes, but there aren’t any...

Does anyone have a tip? Thanks, friends!

I assume this concerns the dust protection strip (rubber lip) of a sliding door, specifically the front one. Both this strip and the sliding door should have pre-drilled holes. Once you have properly clipped in the dust protection strip, you need to align the screw holes by sliding the strip up or down. It’s best to have a second person assist you with this. Using a flashlight can also help to better see the holes. It is definitely possible to use the small screws, although considerable effort is required to screw them in cleanly (the screw heads also need to remain undamaged). The front door has drilled holes on both sides to allow the doors to be installed individually (meaning left- or right-hand opening). The other groove is intended for the felt strip, which is to be glued in.
