Hello,

I want to buy this Metod drawer cabinet and install a Siemens oven in it, which is only 45cm (18 inches) high.
I would like to fill the gap below the oven with a drawer and cut a 20cm (8 inches) high drawer front to fit.
Is this possible? How does the oven’s ventilation work in this case? Is it problematic to place a drawer directly below the oven?

Would HELANDE be a suitable option?

Hello,
it is basically just a slightly different version of this one:

Narrow white cabinet with open door, shelves, and four drawers at the bottom

Hello Ikea expert,

thanks for the tip.
Two things speak against this cabinet though:

1. I don’t want so many drawers at the bottom (at least not visible)
2. There is still a gap with this cabinet (I integrated it into my kitchen plan with a combination appliance 46cm (18 inches) high and there remains a gap).

Hello, you can of course choose the drawers almost freely. With the cabinet, I primarily wanted to show that drawers below the appliance are not a problem. If you look closely with a magnifying glass, you can also see an inserted strip above the top drawer. Actually, HELANDE should also be usable with the 45cm (18 inches) high appliance.

OK, then I'll see if I can combine the tall cabinet with a drawer and the Helande panel.

Unfortunately not. Although the compact stoves have a nominal size of 45 cm (18 inches), the actual size is 45.5 cm (18 inches), so Helande no longer fits.
