Hello,

During the extension of our kitchen, we unfortunately discovered that IKEA has changed from Faktum to Metod, which has an impact on the dimensions.

Therefore, my question is whether anyone still has a Faktum oven cabinet, as the spare parts service leaves much to be desired. We have been waiting for information from IKEA for a week now, and even by phone we have not been able to get help.

This is particularly frustrating because we now have a $1,000 oven, and we cannot get this cabinet in the 70cm (28 inches) height. It really shouldn’t come down to $40. 😕

Do you have a different Google? Unfortunately, I can’t find anything there. At least nothing in 60x70cm (24x28 inches).

In what way is the reorder service disappointing? Everything is available for delivery.
Regarding the front and base, of course, I don’t know which ones you have.

Yes, according to the website, everything is available. However, the customer service hotline says that availability is first checked in Sweden to confirm whether the specific part is actually in stock. If not, I don’t know if they have to manufacture it first.

In any case, we have now been waiting for a week to receive information on if and when anything will be delivered. Unfortunately, the customer service hotline cannot provide an answer to this either.

So far, it has always been indicated when a part is not available. Of course, you can order more than is currently in stock, but rather than spending weeks searching for a used part, I would place the order. In the worst case, the cabinet won’t be deliverable, and you can still look for an alternative then.
