ᐅ How to Mount a 2x2 Ikea Kallax Unit on the Wall?

After reading all possible posts about Kallax and Expedit and surprisingly not finding an answer, I’ll just ask my question:

Can I safely hang a 2x2 Kallax on the wall?
Can I use the normal wall mounting for this?

The shelf won’t be loaded with books or anything heavy; it will mostly be used to store scarves and hats and will serve as a small storage unit in the entrance area...

I would like to hang it about 20cm (8 inches) high because it looks lighter that way, and my robot vacuum can still fit underneath 🙂

Hello, that is no problem. The wall mounting is also shown in the installation manual.

Based on your description, I would say that there should be no problems at all.
