Hello everyone, I recently bought a Pax wardrobe and now face the challenge of securely fixing it on an uneven floor. The irregularities mainly consist of slight height differences of up to 1.5 cm (0.6 inches) across the surface where the wardrobe will be placed. My question is: what is the best way to secure a Pax wardrobe on uneven floors so that it stands firmly, doesn’t wobble, and maintains its load capacity? Are there specific techniques, materials, or additional fasteners you would recommend? I am also interested to know whether the wardrobe feet should be adjusted accordingly or if other measures are more effective. Thanks a lot for your advice!

One more tip: If you don’t have suitable feet, you can also place sturdy rubber pads underneath. This will level out the same unevenness and prevent the cabinet from sliding.

I would take up the tip about the OSB board: place a precisely cut board under the cabinet, so you have a solid and level base that evens out any irregularities.

It also makes sense to secure the cabinet to the wall, which significantly increases stability and prevents any wobbling.

Thank you for the detailed tips; they are very helpful. I had really been considering whether wall mounting is necessary. Are there alternative methods to stabilize the cabinet if the wall material (e.g., drywall) makes wall mounting problematic? How effective are options like additional anti-slip mats or other floor adhesion solutions in such cases?
