What is the best way to assemble Billy bookcases for optimal stability? I plan to connect several Billy bookcases to create a very stable structure that remains secure and does not wobble, even under heavy load. I am particularly interested in tips on proper assembly, the use of additional fasteners or reinforcements, and any recommended modifications. Proper anchoring to the wall is also important to me, as I intend to load the shelves fully. Who has practical experience or advice on how to maximize stability?

Do not use the back panel as a simple thin particle board, but replace it with a thin MDF board if necessaryThis is a very good tip. MDF provides significantly better rigidity compared to the standard backing cardboard. Also, applying additional wood glue to the tongue and groove joints strengthens the connections between the parts, which improves the overall stability.
I understand the feeling of putting a lot of effort into the construction and still having doubts about whether the structure will hold. That is why I think it is important to rely on proven methods, such as wall fastening and secure connections between the shelves.
If possible, I would also recommend slightly leaning the shelves against the wall after assembly and checking with a helper if they wobble or can be moved. This provides a good sense of safety and allows for adjustments if needed.
