Yes, I have the standard Ikea Metod hinges, the full bore damped hinges that are mounted directly on the inner side of the door. I think they are the T15 models, but I’m not completely sure. So the screw arrangement related to your point 2 would fit?
I will try your sequence of steps tomorrow and use a spirit level. I hope I can adjust the door as straight as possible since this misalignment is quite annoying in daily use.
