Hello everyone,
I recently bought an Ikea PAX wardrobe system and am currently installing the doors. However, I would like to attach the doors so that no screws are visible on the front exterior. The standard installation with the included screws doesn’t look ideal to me, especially with the modern, smooth doors.
My question is: How can I securely and stably fix Ikea PAX doors without using screws that show on the outside? Are there special fittings or alternative mounting methods I should be aware of?
I would really appreciate any tips and experiences, preferably with an explanation of how it works, and if possible, recommendations for tools or fastening materials.
Thanks in advance!

To avoid visible screws on Pax doors, the following points should be considered:
- Use internal fastening systems such as cam connectors and concealed hinges.
- Ensure precise measuring and clean drilling, as these connections need to fit accurately.
- Using drilling jigs or templates increases accuracy and minimizes errors.
- For an aesthetically pleasing facade, all connections should be made on the inside surfaces.
These measures not only ensure a clean appearance but also provide sufficient stability and durability.

I would like to add that it is normal for doors to be a bit stiff or not perfectly aligned when first installed. With the adjustable hinges and eccentric cams, you can make fine adjustments until everything fits perfectly.
Patience really pays off and will ultimately give you a neat result without visible screws.
