What I really like is refreshing the furniture with paint. A coat in matte gray or even pastel shades instantly makes the furniture look more modern without ruining the classic style. Try combining that with stylish new handles – there are some fantastic options in brass or matte black!
You could also personalize open shelves with baskets made of natural fibers – this adds coziness and improves storage! And if you’re a bit handy: building a plinth under the dressers to lift them slightly off the floor makes them look more elegant and protects against moisture damage.
