My specific question is: How can I adjust the drawers on the IKEA Besta system? What adjustment options are available on the drawer slides or the cabinet frame to align the drawers horizontally and vertically? Are there special mechanisms, screws, or clips for this? The fronts can be adjusted just like usual; even with TIP-ON, the adjustment screws work as expected. 🙂 Just turn the screws carefully – lateral or height adjustments are still possible! You just need to be a bit more cautious not to put too much stress on the mechanism while adjusting, but that wasn’t an issue for me.
For anyone still having difficulties here: Take your time to fully pull out the drawer and take a look at the back of the front panel. Sometimes the adjustment mechanisms are hidden in unexpected places, especially with special features like tip-on. If the front still cannot be properly aligned, it’s worth slightly loosening the screws and then readjusting, even though this might be a bit fiddly at first. Patience really pays off here!
Hello everyone! I can only watch as you carefully figure it all out – I was once completely frustrated with adjusting my BESTA drawer. In the end, I simply used a small spirit level and adjusted the screws step by step until everything fit perfectly. My tip: take your time, turn each screw just a little bit, and check the result after every adjustment. This saves frustration and prevents rushed mistakes!
