Hi,

I’d like to get your opinion on this.

At the front left in the photo, the baseboard was cut from the floor tile, but since there is a light wall tile running down on the back left and also on the right wall, I find the dark baseboard a bit distracting. In my opinion, a lighter baseboard would look better there.

Alternatively, a dark baseboard all around, with the light tile above it, would also create a consistent look.

What do you think?

Thanks!

Wall with brown wood-look tiles; red installation stub at the bottom.

Since the row at the back left is already tiled, and everything on the right side up to the door is done as well, I don’t want to have it all torn down. And the way it is on the right side—light all the way down—is also fine. But yes, having a dark tile going all the way around with the lighter ones from above on top would also have been a good option.

Oh, I didn’t realize the wall on the right was already finished. Alright, then I understand you.

What is supposed to go above the current base tile? Just painted? No white tiles?

Non-woven wallpaper will be installed there. The baseboard was changed to a light color. I'll check tomorrow how it looks.

Exactly!! And please upload some photos. It’s interesting for the rest.

When it’s finished, yes
Maybe even tomorrow, we’ll see how it looks and whether the dark tiles have been grouted yet.
