Hi,

I’d like to get your opinion on this.

At the front left in the photo, the baseboard was cut from the floor tile, but since there is a light wall tile running down on the back left and also on the right wall, I find the dark baseboard a bit distracting. In my opinion, a lighter baseboard would look better there.

Alternatively, a dark baseboard all around, with the light tile above it, would also create a consistent look.

What do you think?

Thanks!

Wall with brown wood-look tiles; red installation stub at the bottom.

I don’t like it this way...

I also prefer the enclosure to be made of wall tiles, and for aesthetic reasons, the floor tiles on top of the cistern.

I feel the same, but that’s not really the point here....
You can’t leave the base like that, either the dark base all around or the light floor tiles down to the bottom. Such a mix looks bad.
Personally, I would go with the dark base all around.

I think the white tile on the left is not necessary. I would omit it, so the brown baseboard can continue uninterrupted.

Thank you all. That confirmed it for me. I will have the base changed to a light color. I believe we had also discussed this during the initial consultation, agreeing on a light-colored base.

Um, either I misunderstood you regarding changing it to light or the other posts. Wasn't the almost unanimous opinion that it would look better if the dark base runs continuously? Personally, I would also find that the most attractive.
