We are currently trying to decide what kind of decorative fence to put at the front. Since it’s 40 meters (130 feet), it’s not a quick job. Unfortunately, it’s starting to look like it will turn into a lot of work.
At the moment, I’m leaning towards a wooden fence with a stone base underneath. Since our carport and shed are already made of wood, this would probably fit best visually. Metal would, of course, be more durable—but it’s also more expensive and doesn’t match as well. I would also like a hedge, but my husband isn’t satisfied with that, and the shrubs grow very slowly here.
What have you all done? Could you share some photos? Thanks!

How large is your plot of land?
The garden looks so tiny.
This is the garden in front of the house, facing the street. The main garden is located behind the house. The plot is about 600m2 (6458 sq ft).
