Hello!

We are currently building our wardrobe with Pax units. Specifically, the shallower carcasses have the drawback that the drawers only partially extend and are therefore not fully visible, since the standard Komplement drawers obviously do not have full extension.

My question: Do you have any ideas on how to convert the Komplement drawers to full-extension drawers, or which full-extension drawers could be combined with Pax?

Many thanks!

No other drawers from IKEA are likely to fit. You can buy full-extension slides (Blum Tandem, Hettich Quadro, GTV Modern Slide, etc.) from hardware suppliers. It probably won’t be possible to avoid some modification work altogether.

Hello Fredl,

Did you finally find a solution for the full-extension drawers? I spent some time today at the store, and the helpful salesperson said that the drawers are from Blum, but couldn’t provide much more information. I did a bit of research and ended up looking at the Blum Tandem 560H550. Unfortunately, the Pax cabinets have a 1.7cm (0.7 inch) gap between the outer side of the drawer front and the cabinet frame, which the Blum Tandem rails don’t accommodate. I’ve been considering shimming the sides, but there must be an easier way. Before I buy a Pax drawer and a Blum rail and start modifying them, has a solution already been found? I doubt I’m the first person who prefers full-extension drawers and Pax cabinets,
