Hello everyone,

we have now developed two floor plan options for our guest bathroom and would appreciate your feedback.

The shower will be built from masonry and remain that way. I’m still undecided which option I prefer.

Best regards!

View from above: Shower on the left, toilet in the middle, sink on the right, orange flowers on the shelf, green wall.

Option 2 No natural light reaches the shower. But I somehow like this one better.

The daylight situation is accurate. This will be compensated by lighting in the shower area, and the partition wall will also be "only" 2m (6.6 feet) high.

We have arranged the layout similar to your version 1, but with a full-height wall:

Small bathroom layout with bathtub on the left, sink in the middle, toilet on the right, and door.

This is how it currently looks from the door:

Small bathroom under construction with window on the left, black tile border, and installed bathroom furniture.

There definitely needs to be lighting installed in the shower area where the full-height wall is, otherwise it will be too dark.

We went with something similar to option 2. The advantage is that you end up standing at the basin more often for handwashing, where you get nice natural daylight from the side, so you don’t have to turn on the light switch. With option 1, you lose that natural light.

In option 2, I’m not sure if the passage between the sink and the toilet is wide enough. We would have between 75 and 80 cm (30 and 31.5 inches) available. Is that sufficient?

Thank you for the photos and your feedback.

How much space do you have between the sink and the toilet?
