Hello.

I want to use Metod units for a bench. Since the height must not exceed 60cm (24 inches), I’m planning to use wall cabinets. However, there are (understandably) no drawers available for those.

Does anyone know if regular drawers designed for the 37cm (15 inches) deep base cabinets can also be installed in the wall cabinets? Would the fronts or heights be an issue?

Unfortunately, the trip to Ikea is a bit far to test this in person. It would be great if someone has an idea!

Alternatively, I’m open to suggestions for another cabinet system – but we need the unit to be 40cm (16 inches) wide, 40cm (16 inches) deep, and 60cm (24 inches) high. I haven’t found anything other than Metod that fits these dimensions...

Thanks and best regards
Bernd

Hello everyone.

Sorry – false alarm. I have since answered my own question because there are officially drawers available for wall cabinets as well. They were just very hidden in the kitchen planner. So, all good 🙂
