I have a question regarding the Brimnes drawers from IKEA. Specifically, I would like to know if it is possible to replace or repair individual drawers in this piece of furniture. I am particularly interested in whether damaged or defective drawer fronts, runners, or even entire drawer units can be purchased separately without needing to replace the entire unit. If repair kits or spare parts are available, I would also appreciate any advice on the best way to install them or any special tips to keep in mind.

Getting replacement parts from IKEA online can take a while. It’s better to ask in-store, as they often reserve parts for a few days. Removing a drawer front: Pull the drawer out completely, lift the front slightly, then carefully press or release the clips. Do not force anything.
I had exactly the same problem with my Brimnes chest of drawers! It’s really frustrating when a drawer sticks or the front is damaged. I called IKEA, and they were very helpful; they sent me a replacement front and rails. The installation was very easy—just pull out the drawer, remove the front, and attach the new one. And voilà, it runs smoothly again! Just use customer service; it saves a lot of money and hassle! Good luck, it will definitely work!
