ᐅ Bathroom light turns off with delay – external light switch responds sluggishly

Hello,

When using the light switch installed outside the bathroom, the light turns on only with a noticeable delay. All other light switches in the apartment work without any issues.

Which technology are you using? Wired, bus system, or possibly a transformer, LED control, or something similar?

How many tenths of a second are we talking about? I assume an LED with a transformer. A bit more information is often helpful.

Nothing like that. Possibly a lightme colorful bulb with a remote control inside. Too high up... Old building... no ladder available.
It just feels too long and different compared to all the others on the same circuit.

There you have the answer. It’s an LED with built-in electronics. It takes a few milliseconds.

Completely normal.

It’s just that it’s only been like this for a few weeks.
It used to be instant... that’s why I’m asking.
