Hello everyone,
I bought:
4 x item no. 202.145.71 Pax carcass 75x58x236cm (30x23x93 inches)
2 x item no. 001.831.65 Pax ÅNSTAD STP 150x236cm (59x93 inches) high gloss
I assembled and set up the four PAX carcasses within a few hours.
Now I wanted to attach/click the outer rail of the PAX Ånstad to one carcass, but as shown in the picture below, I CANNOT align it horizontally without applying external force. It always sticks out slightly. Is this normal?

The carcass already has the four holes drilled by the manufacturer, into which I screwed the screws with the click fastener shown below. I didn’t have to tighten the screws completely so that the rail could still fit under the click fastener.

I can easily pull the rail down a little on the left and right edges. However, in the middle, I can’t pull it down well. I think the two inner walls are preventing this.

I checked all four click fasteners with a small mirror: they hold the rail in the correct position.
What can I do to make the rail sit square to the carcass?
Thank you very much!
Andreas

First, place the rail on top, then attach and screw in the middle click bracket from above. After that, screw in the remaining brackets. Be careful... the running rail must be aligned exactly in the center, otherwise the drawers (if you have installed any) may collide with the door.
That’s how it works.
The other way around—screwing in the click brackets first and then snapping in the running rail—does not work.
