I own several pieces from the HEMNES series, mainly made of solid pine, and I am wondering if I should take different measures depending on the season to best protect the wood and extend its lifespan. I am particularly interested in advice regarding humidity, temperature changes, and possible effects from heating air in winter or stronger sunlight exposure in summer. Are there any special seasonal care tips beyond regular cleaning, or should I simply treat and maintain the furniture consistently throughout the year?

Yes, I do the same. Just one treatment per year is completely sufficient. In winter, you simply need to make sure the air doesn’t get too dry.

One more tip: In winter, avoid placing radiators directly next to Hemnes furniture. This dries out the wood too much. A small gap helps prevent cracking.
