Hello everyone, I have several Billy bookcases from IKEA, and I've noticed that some of the shelves wobble a bit or sag slightly in the middle. I'm interested in how to permanently prevent Billy shelves from wobbling or sagging. I’m specifically referring to the standard shelves without any additional reinforcements or metal inserts. Does anyone know of proven methods or useful hacks to make the shelves more stable without major modifications to the bookcase? Thanks for your tips!

What helped me was properly securing the shelf to the wall – this reduces imbalance and wobbling. It also helps if the shelves are not overloaded.
