Hello

After one year, an anthracite floor tile has developed a white spot in the middle. It looks as if it has been "worn out."

Is it normal for large floor tiles to show wear? It cannot be dirt, as it doesn’t come off with common cleaning methods.

I would almost bet on lime!

Yes, we have one too. But we also have a Grünbeck system. The strange thing is that it’s only in one spot. We can’t get rid of it either.

Is this the spot below the shower head? Maybe the shower is dripping, and this spot is always wet, causing limescale to build up?

We also have very soft water (6° total hardness). Nevertheless, a stain forms on our tiles (very similar shade) under the shower as well.
It comes off well with Silit Bang, but make sure to rinse thoroughly afterwards (ideally squeegee as well), otherwise you’ll get a cement residue on the tiles because the limescale remover dissolves the grout.

Great! I checked it out yesterday, it’s really amazing! I’ll give it a try.

Please share whether it worked.

Off topic: Hey – you also have a tiled drainage channel. We thought it looked very nice and had it done the same way.
