Hello

After one year, an anthracite floor tile has developed a white spot in the middle. It looks as if it has been "worn out."

Is it normal for large floor tiles to show wear? It cannot be dirt, as it doesn’t come off with common cleaning methods.

Off topic: Hey – you also have a tiled drainage channel. We really liked it and had it done the same way.

Satisfied? You really have to fumble with the rail when you suddenly find yourself standing in water because the hair clogs the strainer again 🙁

So far (7 months) we haven’t had any problems with it.
However, my wife mostly uses the bathtub, and the kids are just starting to prefer showers (but they don’t have long hair) – as for me: What are hairs? 🙁

What does "wrummeln" mean? (I don’t know that word)

I also have a tiled channel. I can simply pull it out with a hook, then clean the channel and put the element back in. What is different if the channel is made of stainless steel or something like that?

Exactly. The only thing I worry about is that eventually the two hooks (one per shower) will get misplaced. Then I'll have to come up with something myself.

Synonym for picking, poking, or fiddling...

And yes: we still have this hook… but without glasses or contact lenses while showering, it’s quite a challenge. We deal less with the tiled rail and more with the plastic clips that are supposed to hold this rail. We have six of them; half get stuck on the rail, and the others end up floating in the drain… And then try to fix that nicely—while showering, of course 😡

You are absolutely right, that would be very inconvenient while showering.

Do alternative covers have a different attachment system?
