ᐅ Sliding Patio Doors Photo Thread – Show Us Your Sliding Doors!

Hello everyone, I’m looking for some more inspiration and would love to see your sliding doors to the terrace.

There are really so many options:
- Tilt-and-slide door
- Lift-and-slide door
- 2-panel, 3-panel, 4-panel
- Width
- Height
- Configuration
- Number of moving sashes
- ...

If you have very wide doors, please also briefly mention what impact that had on the structural engineering and what measures were required.

We are currently leaning towards a 3-panel lift-and-slide door that will be 5 meters wide (16 feet). The exact details will only be finalized during the detailed planning phase, which is still 2–3 months away, so there’s still plenty of time to gather ideas 🙂

Fortunately, I don’t either. Whenever I try to open or close those things at my girlfriend’s place, I almost end up breaking them every time 🙁

We have two sliding doors leading to the terrace, shown in the photo on the left covered by roller shutters and on the right near the garden furniture under the roof, where the roller shutters are open. The dimensions can be seen in the attached plan. We are very satisfied with both sliding doors.
