ᐅ Costs for an electric garage door

Hello everyone,

we are currently in the process of choosing a garage door.
Therefore, I am looking for price information for garage doors including installation.

Key details:
Width 5.0 meters (16 feet 5 inches)
Height 2.25 meters (7 feet 5 inches)
Electric drive with 2 remote controls
Sectional door in anthracite color

Do you have any experience with what something like this should or could cost?

So far, we like a Hörmann door best.

3500 EUR ± 1-200 EUR This is roughly what my quotes look like, including the motor, installation, 2 remote controls, and a large slat. Novotherm is somewhat cheaper in my quotes compared to Hörmann, but the difference is not decisive. It also depends on the chosen surface finish.

So far, I only know Hörmann doors with the Woodgrain surface.

I did not expect prices like these. More in the range of 2,500 euros.

Hörmann offers garage doors in this size for 1,500 euros with a motor. Installation costs around 400 euros.

When I think of it, I'll look it up tonight. We ordered a Hörmann sectional door with a Supramatic 4 drive in approximately this size.
