Hello everyone,
my aunt always says that she sprinkles used coffee grounds on her garden beds and that this supposedly helps against slugs.
Does anyone else know this trick or is it just wishful thinking?

People often recommend coarse sand, but if you listen closely, you’ll hear the snails laugh at all attempts to keep them away from the garden beds.
See you soon
TomatenThe only effective way to deal with snails is salt. It’s harsh and cruel, but I can’t recommend anything better.

Hello,
my neighbors bought Indian runner ducks; they eat everything that moves in the garden. But it’s only worthwhile if the garden is large enough and you can keep the ducks in a shelter when it gets cold.
by BauzaunHey, that’s a great idea. Maybe several people could join together and buy the ducks collectively.
Best regards, Schweindl
