ᐅ Coffee as a Remedy for Slugs

Hello everyone,

my aunt always says that she sprinkles used coffee grounds on her garden beds and that this supposedly helps against slugs.
Does anyone else know this trick or is it just wishful thinking?

I find that beer always works great. We use it whenever there are especially many slugs crawling around, and it always does the trick. Since it’s not a chemical treatment, it’s also harmless to other living creatures 🙂
