I am planning to assemble an Ikea PAX wardrobe soon and want to prepare thoroughly, especially regarding the tools. Therefore, my specific question is: What tools are absolutely necessary to assemble an Ikea PAX wardrobe safely, efficiently, and without major difficulties?
I assume the typical Ikea Allen key is included, but are that and maybe a simple screwdriver really enough? Are there particular tools that are helpful because they make the work easier, or even necessary because the provided tools alone are not sufficient?
I would really appreciate tips on tool selection that have proven useful during actual assembly—feel free to include recommendations on types of tools or brands that have worked well.

The tools are straightforward, but managing the pieces can sometimes be the most challenging part.
If you encounter any surprises or unevenness with the wall or floor, it’s really helpful to have someone by your side to support you, so you don’t get frustrated or accidentally damage anything.

A cordless drill is the real hero in everyday furniture assembly; everything else is basically just extras.
And if you set the cordless drill correctly, you can fasten like a pro without damaging the finish or the panels.
A small tip: just keep in mind that PAX parts can sometimes make a bit of a “loud” snapping sound when they fit properly – this is normal, no need to worry.
