NordlysThe following issue needs to be resolved: Roof tile selection. Manufacturer Braas. Surface finish novo matt, which is standard. Or star matt, which is smooth. Additional cost 600,- gross.
Who uses star matt? How does it perform regarding moss growth? In newly built properties without many tall trees. 600,- is not a huge amount, but it’s too much if it’s not beneficial. Please provide feedback. Karsten

konuhov225 Sep 2018 12:34@Nordlys Hello, how has your experience been so far after this short period? For example, have there been any issues during the extreme heat?

konuhov225 Sep 2018 12:59We are currently deciding whether to choose the BRAAS Harzer Pfanne Granit roof tile.
We faced the same choice. The Starmatt (Taunus tile) appeared to be of higher quality to me than the Harzer tile (standard coating).
During the sample inspection, there was already quite a bit of pollen stuck in the rough surface. However, this might have just been a sales tactic.
For me, the reasons were primarily aesthetic (smoother surface and more attractive design) and the belief that less dirt would accumulate on it, which is why we chose the Starmatt Taunus tile.
The additional cost was 500 EUR gross.
