Hello everyone, I am currently organizing my new Ikea PAX wardrobe and would like to know specifically which Ikea shoe inserts fit into the PAX units. Since PAX comes in different widths and depths, I am particularly interested in compatible recommendations for the common 50 cm (20 inches) and 100 cm (39 inches) wide wardrobes. Are there standardized inserts that fit well and also match the PAX in terms of material or design? What exact dimensions should I pay attention to, and does anyone have experience with how the inserts perform with heavier shoes, such as leather ones? Thanks in advance for your tips!

I implemented a similar setup myself. Thick wooden shelves with reinforced bases on the bottom, SKUBBs on top for lighter shoes.

It seems the final conclusion is that simply following the Ikea approach is often not ideal and requires some creativity. I still believe that investing in more customization and quality is worthwhile, especially when you have already invested in an expensive Pax system.

Absolutely! But everyone starts with basic modules at some point. The important thing is not to lose courage and to adapt what you have. PAX is very flexible, so just try things out and have fun!

My final conclusion after your help: unfortunately, there is no suitable Ikea shoe insert for a 50 cm (20 inch) wide PAX with a depth of 35 cm (14 inches). For the 58 cm (23 inch) depth, SKUBB inserts fit well, especially at the top for lighter shoes. For heavier leather shoes and the lower section, it is better to consider custom sturdy shelves or alternatives. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions; I now have a better basis for my planning!
