For everyday use, I recommend a good furniture wax and only occasional use of a wood oil. It’s best to test a small area first to see how the finish reacts. Additionally, for cleaning, you can try a very diluted vinegar-water mixture, but be sure it’s weak enough not to damage the finish.
And very importantly: always use a soft cloth and non-abrasive sponges to avoid scratching.
