Hello everyone,
I have a sort of party room in my garden or yard that I only use during the summer. The wooden boards used as cladding are starting to look worn, and I want to have the room reclad on these two sides (see photo). The whole area should be clad, plastered, and painted.

What materials would be suitable for this? Underneath the wood there is only rock wool insulation and battens. There is no need for extensive additional insulation.
The painter will come next week to provide an estimate. Roughly, how much would it cost to have a professional do this work?

That is, removing and disposing of the wooden boards, installing new cladding, plastering, and painting, etc.

Thank you! That wasn’t really the plan. I was thinking of removing the wood and attaching new boards, such as fiber cement panels, onto the battens behind, then plastering and painting. The question is mainly about what costs I should expect. I thought I could ask here to get an idea of the price range before receiving the painter’s quote.

As for the wood, it was leftover material from a timber merchant that closed down at the time. It cost me almost nothing back then.
