sarasotasonne15 Feb 2015 20:10Good evening.
I have been thinking a lot because our terrace faces the street side (turning bay), and we want some type of privacy screen.
I would like a drywall structure, about 2 meters high with masonry elements, link removed.
Has anyone had experience with something like this? What costs should we roughly expect? The heights will vary, but should be between approximately 1.50 m (5 feet) and 2.00 m (6.5 feet), and about 5.00 m (16.5 feet) long.
I also welcome any other great suggestions.

A bonded masonry system is relatively expensive. I did some research myself, and the cheapest, though not very attractive, system costs 50 €/sq m (approximately 4.65 USD/sq ft). The foundation cost is additional.

Best regards, YvonneOh, okay. I’ll behave from now on. 😉I’m afraid it will be too expensive overall. But I don’t want those basic wooden trellises. We’re lucky to still have a bit of time. 🙂
