What costs are you expecting for your house or have you come up with?
(Calculation method: euro construction costs / sqm (square meters) of living space = xy).

Please consider "pure" house costs only, meaning:
  • House with basement/slab foundation
  • Including technical installations
  • Including floors and walls
  • Excluding land, driveway, landscaping, garage, terrace, additional building fees

Thank you for sharing your estimates!

In Baden-Württemberg, assume around 2,500.

At the moment, our planning in Baden-Württemberg is still below 2,000. Let's see what else might come up.

So with my €1690 in NRW, contract from 2018, I’m among the bargain houses. It’s not about exactness but rather a rough indication.

Well, you never really know who included what in the calculations...
Is it a turnkey project?
Does it include painting? Kitchen / built-in cabinets, etc.?

Painter costs yes, kitchen no.

Well, the main thing is that everyone can pat themselves on the back: some proudly because they managed to beat the quoted minimum price with their estimate. Others because they can afford the ridiculously expensive house they calculated.

One proudly manages with 1 square meter of window per square meter of living space, while the other enjoys their beloved panoramic windows.

Two here have already found common ground.
