What costs are you expecting for your house or have you come up with?
(Calculation method: euro construction costs / sqm (square meters) of living space = xy).

Please consider "pure" house costs only, meaning:
  • House with basement/slab foundation
  • Including technical installations
  • Including floors and walls
  • Excluding land, driveway, landscaping, garage, terrace, additional building fees

Thank you for sharing your estimates!

This is not meant to be representative but simply a survey among like-minded people.

You just divide the total construction cost of the building shell by the square meters (sqm) and then check the box. If you want to include everything, up to the choice of facade color, the survey will end up like the BER airport project. It will only get bigger but never finished.

Well, the year of construction is definitely important for the price; what we agreed on in 2014 is now worth less than half.

I will not participate in this, as I built my house in 2013.

Square meter prices are nonsense as a benchmark for a house. They do not reflect quality or usability.

For most, it is more than 2100 euros... That seems to be the price range you should expect to budget.

In Baden-Württemberg, you can expect around 2,500.
