Hello everyone,

I am considering covering my terrace with this great pebble carpet. There are several steps involved in the process. First, the surface needs to be leveled with a primer before the pebble carpet can be applied. Has anyone here done this themselves? Or would it be better to hire a professional?

Best regards

Hello,

I haven’t done it myself yet, but before hiring a professional, which can be quite expensive, I would suggest looking for a guide online.
It can’t be that difficult.
It probably also depends on the load, meaning how much weight the covering will need to support.

I have no personal experience, but my neighbor has a stone carpet on his terrace. It looks very nice and is slip-resistant. I would also do some research online first before hiring an expensive company.

Thank you all, I will definitely give that a try. They already look really great, and you can create wonderful patterns by arranging them. What convinces me the most is that there are no joints where rainwater can seep in.

I also like this stone carpet, and there are wonderful versions available. It consists of pure natural materials and can be installed as a DIY project. I have seen it once in an office, and it impressed me a lot.
