Hello everyone,
Would you place the control switches for the roller shutters directly at each window (as our construction manager suggests) or rather near the room entrance with the other light switches (as we proposed)?

We installed it centrally at the door and I’m glad we did! Running around to open every window each time would drive you crazy.
And to make it even faster throughout the whole house, the Somfy mobile app. Do you need to specify anything about motors or switches in the tender regarding the Somfy system, or how does it work exactly? How do these devices communicate?

Somfy supports both wireless and wired options. Somfy offers its own wireless motors (io technology). There are also wireless remote controls available from Somfy. In addition, there is a central unit called the Tahoma Box, as well as sensors like wind and sunlight sensors, which can communicate with each other via the Box.

But I can live with that.It will probably come down to a switch by the door for us. Possibly also one in the living room for each of the two double windows, so they can be controlled separately.
