Schickezimmer7 Nov 2010 10:35Hello everyone,
We bought the kitchen from our previous tenant. The plastic cover of the dishwasher’s control panel is cracked and partially coming apart. Is it possible to order a replacement somewhere?
I would be very grateful for any helpful tips.
Best regards from the beautiful Ammersee

Nayla_10687 Nov 2010 14:17Hello,
You cannot order replacement parts directly from IKEA unless it is a warranty case. However, you can try ordering this cover from the manufacturer. In your case, it should be Whirlpool. Check the door of your dishwasher; there you will find the serial number, and it should be followed by WH. If that is the case, try searching online for the Whirlpool hotline or send them an email. They will need the serial number and can tell you the price for the part if it is still in stock.
Let me know if it worked.

Maverick18548 Nov 2010 07:23You cannot order replacement parts directly from IKEA unless it is a warranty case. This is not entirely correct. In the event of a warranty claim, IKEA directs customers to the manufacturer’s hotline. IKEA itself does not order replacement parts for electrical appliances. For warranty cases that extend beyond the standard 2-year manufacturer’s warranty, the customer orders the replacement part or the technician, pays the manufacturer’s invoice, and is reimbursed by IKEA upon submission of the receipts (both IKEA and original manufacturer invoice).

It's a pity if this service is not offered to customers in your store.
