Hello,
I have a question about the mounting rail and would appreciate it if someone could help.
I need to know the hole diameter for the screws on the mounting rail. From what I understand, the hole diameter of the small plates ("tabs") is actually more important, since these seem tighter in pictures. These tabs still need to be able to move. Knowing the hole diameter would help me determine the necessary screws.
As mentioned, it would be very helpful if someone could provide these measurements. Otherwise, I would have to wait another two weeks until I can visit Ikea again. Then I would just buy a rail and measure it myself.
Thank you very much in advance and best regards!

Hello everyone,
I have a question as a non-expert. I hope I can explain it clearly enough.
Technicians installed the mounting rail on my wall. However, the clips are facing "downward" instead of sideways, as shown in the instructions. Could this cause problems when hanging the cabinets, since there might not be enough space for the cabinet hooks? Does it affect the stability?
Could the wrong size of screws or wall plugs have been used here?

What material is the wall made of? The size of the wall plugs can’t be determined. They might be 8mm (0.3 inch) plugs, which would probably be an appropriate diameter, but the type and length also matter.

Thanks Knallkörper and Seat88 for the answers!
What are the general advantages of countersunk screws compared to those with a pan head?
The installers said they didn’t have the right screw length with them, so some screws stick out more from the metal plate than others. Does that affect the stability?
I’m asking these questions also to learn something in the process.
It is a sand-lime brick wall.
