Hello everyone!
Can anyone tell me if the drawers for the Faktum base cabinets were ever changed? I’m referring to the 3-drawer units (silver-colored) for the 30 cm (12 inches) cabinets – I have some that have a different item number than the ones currently sold in 3-packs. What are the differences between them?
Best regards, Carlaro

Hello,
there are three different versions. Each comes from a different manufacturer and is based on their own rail system. The external design is essentially always the same and corresponds to the Blum Tandembox plus. Accordingly, Blum drawer runners were initially used everywhere. In 2007, the second version by Hettich was introduced, which has since been sold in Northwest Europe (and was sold). In the other countries, the Blum version continued to be used. However, since the beginning of this year, those are only sold in North America and the Pacific region. A new addition is the Italian manufacturer Manuex, which now supplies the drawer runners for Southern and Eastern Europe as well as the Middle East.
Except for the Rationell drawers for non-metric North America, each version can be used in Faktum cabinets.
It should also be noted that not every cabinet rail of the Blum version can be equipped with a damper. This only became available starting in 2006. The very early version was also only a partial extension, but as far as I know, it was not available for the 30cm (12 inch) wide cabinet.
