Hello,
I want to tile my terrace. At the moment, it is a concrete terrace that needs to be leveled in all directions. The terrace is on average 21cm (8 inches) high, and about 3cm (1 inch) need to be leveled. My idea is to level the terrace using gravel (granular bedding) and then lay concrete tiles. 23cm (9 inches) + 4cm (1.5 inches) gravel + 4cm (1.5 inches) tiles results in a total height of 31cm (12 inches). For the edging, I cannot use standard lawn edging because I need a minimum height of 50cm (20 inches). Do you have any ideas for alternatives that wouldn’t be too expensive?
