Hello everyone,
we are currently looking for a lawn mower – we have about 600 m² (approximately 6458 sq ft) of lawn, and eventually we plan to plant some bushes and other plants as well.
Our landscape gardener recommended a Sabo mower – does anyone have experience with it? I would prefer a mulching mower. I found Makita quite appealing, while others swear by Honda or Husqvarna...
I’d rather avoid a corded mower – battery-powered ones are also quite expensive; right now, I am most convinced by a gasoline mower.
Thanks for your tips and opinions.

A smart approach to garden planning is to design everything so that you don’t need a trimmer, smoothing or otherwise easily managing the edges (mowing edges) as much as possible. The wider the mower, the fewer meters you have to cover. However, the quality of the mower itself is much more important, and Sabo is definitely one of the top brands in this regard.
We haven’t made much progress with our lawn mower situation. The lawn has been seeded, and in about three weeks we’ll probably need to mow for the first time. I’m not the type to be stingy in the wrong way, but I’d rather not spend another thousand this year on something like that. We have about 250–300 square meters (2,690–3,230 square feet) of lawn. I plan to install a robotic mower next year with the hedge. But you still need a mower for days when the robot isn’t running, or in the spring before it starts operating, and so on...

Sabo 36 EL with mulching kit... 370 € Hello BeHaElJa, after some time... Are you still satisfied with the mower for your 600 m² (6,458 sq ft) lawn? And did you pay 370 euros for the mower including the mulching kit?
Does the mulch always fall back onto the lawn when the kit is installed, or can the clippings optionally still be collected in the grass catcher?
