Hello everyone,
Following advice from our architect, we have started considering our kitchen layout, since we still have the option to move walls, windows, or doors if it helps optimize the kitchen.
Attached is a first draft of the kitchen plan, which I have roughly sketched. You will also find pictures showing the approximate style and cabinet fronts we are aiming for. According to the seller, the price will be around €13,500. Some additional information is included in the image. If you need any more details, please feel free to ask.
What do you think about the Nolte Manhattan kitchen in general? How do you find the overall layout? Does the offer seem reasonable to you? Do you have any suggestions for improvements?
Thank you very much and best regards

So, I have it like this, and modern ovens really don’t emit much heat anymore. At least not during the typical 15-minute reheating of a frozen pizza.
It might be different with a goose cooking for over 6 hours, as that could eventually warm up the surrounding area. However, first, you don’t keep the oven at a high temperature for that entire time, and second, you usually do that only once a year. If necessary, you can add extra insulation between the oven and the kitchen cabinet (which often tapers behind the front panel).

However, if you enjoy cooking and baking...
The oven does produce heat at the back—exactly where the refrigerator releases its heat and expects “cool” air.
The oven constantly emits hot, moist air from the back, which the refrigerator almost magically draws in when you open it. Too much moisture in the refrigerator can encourage mold growth...
It’s not a big problem, but if it can be avoided, it’s better to do so.
