Have you measured how wide SAMLA, SORTERA, KLÄMTARE are at the base?

Förvara does not have full extension or soft-close features.

Why does everyone think they have to use IKEA’s waste separation system for kitchens… I also chose the Hailo system because it’s better and has larger bins. The rail, cover, and everything else is included. When you calculate the price, since you don’t need drawers, it’s not much more expensive. And a few dollars should be worth it for a better system.

Google the exact term with the additional word "Idealo."
That way, you can find affordable suppliers.
I don’t remember exactly what I paid. I’ll have to look it up tomorrow afternoon.

@IKEA-Newbie: If I remember, I can measure the Förvara drawers tomorrow, in case there’s still interest. But they don’t pull out completely, so it might be quite tricky with the bins, I think. (I believe the dimensions given are always the external measurements, so the maximum width/depth.)

@robi_aus_ffm: Are they deeper than the IKEA trash bins? If I need to fit four bins (plastic, paper, general waste, and glass) under an 80cm (31.5 inch) wide sink, can I make better use of the space than with this VARIERA / Utrusta?

Edit: I see that option doesn’t exist for 80cm (31.5 inch) width, unfortunately. Four bins at 80cm (31.5 inch) width—too bad.
