Hello everyone,
I will be moving into my first apartment soon and plan to have an IKEA kitchen designed, but I want to buy brand-name appliances. Except for the fridge and freezer, I have already selected everything. Unfortunately, IKEA’s refrigerators have poor energy efficiency ratings, which is why I came across the Neff KI6873D40. Based on the dimensions, it should fit into the cabinet, but I am unsure about the size of the doors. The lower freezer door is 61.8cm (24.3 inches) high, and the upper refrigerator door is 110.1cm (43.3 inches) high.
Does anyone have an idea if this fits into the standard fridge cabinet with the tall and small door?
Thank you!

I feel like I once read that other refrigerators are not compatible. However, it is indeed possible to conceal or use the space inside with an additional compartment above the built-in refrigerator.
This tip probably only applies to individual refrigerators without a dishwasher.

Changing the fronts, either DIY or by a carpenter, would of course be possible. For the upper door, you could shorten a 140cm (55 inch) door to 135cm (53 inch). For the lower door, an 80cm (32 inch) door could be cut down to 64.6cm (25.4 inch). To be safe, take another look at the dimension drawings on the Neff homepage.
