Hello everyone,
I have spent a few weeks browsing various sites and also searched this forum. I am looking for some kind of infographic, chart, or table where I can find out which parts are compatible with each other based on designation, product number, manufacturing year, etc.
I own two kitchens in two different countries; both are Faktum models. One seems to be from the 1990s, and the other was purchased in 2001 or 2002. I have been upgrading these kitchens for some time, but for cost reasons, I mostly buy second-hand items.
By now, I have had three versions of the Rationell full-extension drawers in my hands (not deeper or taller versions, but with different fronts, rails, dampers, fasteners, etc.). I have gone through the history of Rationell and now know that there are Rationell types A, B, H, and possibly more. I am also familiar with Blum rails and various other components. I have a collection of parts here that are not compatible with each other or are missing small components—and, due to lack of product numbers or more detailed descriptions in various forums (is Blum Tandembox really the same as Blum Tandembox? Apparently not…) I can’t make progress. Is anyone knowledgeable or willing to create something like this? I can gladly assist with the graphics.

IKEA-Experte1 Nov 2016 19:36Hello, I might be able to tell you what some parts are for if you take pictures of them, but creating an overview is difficult. You would need the assembly instructions for all versions with the part numbers, and parts like frames and back panels don’t have any numbers at all.
Since Faktum not only changed the hardware manufacturers by production year but also used different hardware depending on the country (DE/AT/CH), such an infographic is unlikely to exist. In some cases, the manufacturers were even mixed, with standard drawer slides made by Hettich and oven drawers/ plinth drawers by Blum.

IKEA-Experte2 Nov 2016 14:29Remove the bottom rails from the cabinets and install one of the Maximera models there (not from Austria, Switzerland, France, etc.). At the bottom, you can simply place the rails on the floor and screw them firmly in place. Rails can frequently be found in the clearance section. Some houses do not include them, so you may need to ask.
