A small tip for everyone in Berlin (especially near IKEA Tempelhof).
I happened to discover this yesterday because I wanted my items delivered immediately. They deliver your purchase on the same day. It only took 2 hours. Great service... why doesn’t IKEA offer something like this?

But it only applies to online shopping. Anyway ... it’s really quite affordable.
But also concerning.
Because the real idea behind it can only be to encourage people to shop online and keep them out of IKEA Tempelhof and other stores.
This will lead to what will eventually happen anyway: purely online shopping!
No stores ... no salespeople ... no cashiers ...
Everyone unemployed ... and no delivery taxis either 😉 .

Oh... unfortunately, there is no IKEA near me at Lake Constance.
The closest ones are in Ulm or Sindelfingen near Stuttgart... I have always shopped at the Ulm IKEA so far.
I also find it annoying that there is no IKEA nearby, not to mention a furniture delivery service...

Better and faster is Möbel Taxi. From IKEA Tempelhof to Pocco Domaine and to Prenzlauer Berg for €43.50 (about $47).
My purchase was €1200.00 (about $1295), IKEA wanted €95.00 (about $102) and I would have had to wait 4 days, and with them no more than 5 minutes.
