Hello!

We would like to replace our current sink with one from IKEA. The cutout in the worktop is already in place and fits a sink with the standard dimensions of 860 mm x 435 mm (34 inches x 17 inches).

Does IKEA offer a sink that would fit into the cutout for a "standard sink"?

Hello,
I would say "yes and no"...
Not the exact dimension.
It’s clear that you can’t use smaller ones, otherwise you would have a hole in the countertop somewhere.
However...
You can use a slightly larger one. You just need to cut out a small additional area. The cutout size is usually about 2cm (1 inch) less in width and depth than the sink size. For the Boholmen, that would be approximately 88x48cm (35x19 inches).
