Hello everyone,
I am currently renovating my Faktum kvadrat kitchen.
So far, I had a base cabinet with three pull-out drawers without fronts.
I bought this cabinet in the mid-2010s and, since the same fronts are no longer available, I left it without doors.
Now I have found a matching door. Unfortunately, I am missing the two white mounting clips used to attach the front to the Rationell drawers.
Since IKEA no longer offers Faktum cabinets, I am uncertain how to get these two plastic parts now.
Could someone possibly help me with this?
I have already searched on eBay and similar sites, but I would rather not buy a new drawer for over 30 euros just to get the two mounting clips.
Thanks, Aileen_2751

IKEA-Freund4 Aug 2015 20:41Hello,
white plastic holders don’t sound like Blum Tandembox to me – but IKEA-Freund might know better. The old Tandembox holders I’m familiar with were made of metal and should have the IKEA number 113281. The fronts with these holders snapped in place (and could only be released sideways with a screwdriver). An original manual can be found online on the Ikea site.
My two newer Rationell drawers had white plastic holders; the front was attached by rotating the side cover plates on the cabinet frame 90°. I was able to find the relevant instructions, and the parts look like this:
.
The manufacturer is unknown to me.
I would suggest trying the Ikea spare parts service to get the correct holder – otherwise, you can look further.
Regards,
IKEA-Freund

IKEA-Experte4 Aug 2015 20:57The brackets linked to are not the right ones. They only fit starting from the Tandembox plus. Based on your description, you have the first version of the RATIONELL drawers with double-walled sides. These were only partial-extension drawers, meaning when the drawer is fully pulled out, a few centimeters (inches) remain inside the cabinet carcass. Partial-extension drawers are probably no longer produced by Blum, but they might still have the brackets as replacement parts. I would contact Blum; they can provide more detailed information. It’s best to take a photo of the side panel with the hole and send it in an email to Blum.

IKEA-Freund2 Feb 2016 11:13Hello,
You linked the numbers for the most recently sold version, but according to an IKEA expert, it was actually about the version before the previous one of the Rationell drawers.

EyesOnly123 Feb 2016 13:17Hello,
You linked the numbers for the most recently sold version, but according to the IKEA expert, it was actually about the at least the second previous version of the Rationell drawers.

IKEA-FriendHello,
It is quite possible, but thanks to your post about the "new" version, I also discovered the new parts and, since this post is easy to find through Google, I have summarized everything briefly.
Anyone now searching for replacement parts for the new version will be able to find them as well.
